EMAK COUTURE
Tunde Akinola
Emak’s Couture is an emerging cross-cultural fashion outfit based in Nigeria. Founded by its leading and head designer Tunde Akinola, Emak’s Couture was established as a full fledged fashion outfit. Emak’s Couture has been playing in the fashion home industry for over half a decade where it began by building its reputation as a freelance design affiliate to a host of forerunners in the sector. In the face of the very huge and/or overwhelming demand from the fashion consumer market, Emak’s had to reposition itself as an independent outfit since it was imperative that the largely patronized forerunners sought the expertise of specialized hands to handle delicate areas of clothing design and development. This way the couture industry has continued to grow & expand steadily, while upcoming fashion brands such as Emak’s have continued to assert themselves competitively as good brands and significant players.

  1. Africa, to start with, has a very rich culture. And I think B&T Direct has bridged into that culture to having the very fab conventional designs for men too.
