We Love Autumn Adeigbo's Collection!

Autumn Adeigbo is the designer and Stylist behind her eponymous women’s RTW collection. The daughter of Nigerian immigrants, Adeigbo developed her love for fashion as a young girl watching her mother sew many of the dresses she wore to school, where she was voted “Best Dressed” by her fourth grade classmates. After receiving a degree in Economics from Spelman college, Adeigbo studied fashion design at Parsons, the New School of Design, and worked for designers Betsey Johnson and Anna Sui. She sharpened her aesthetic for high fashion by assisting stylists Andrea Lieberman, Leslie Fremar and Rebecca Weinberg for a combined 7 years. Inspired by her desire to create a more cultural, colorful and conscious world, Adeigbo returned to her design roots and launched a capsule collection of 7 African-influenced silhouettes for the Fall 2009 season. (5% of every dress sales is donated to charities healing the sexual violence crisis in parts of Africa).
